Museum Curators The Suwannee County Historical Commission is hiring part-time Museum Curators for the Suwannee County Historical Museum in Live Oak. Candidates should be friendly, creative, team-oriented, and interested in history. The job involves organizing exhibits, answering patrons’ questions, and maintaining the museum. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma, ability to lift 25 pounds, and passing a criminal background check. Preferred requirements include a bachelor’s degree in a history-related field, knowledge of Suwannee County history, and basic computer skills. The candidates will also be the face of the Museum and assist patrons with basic historical questions regarding the exhibits. This is an opportunity for enthusiastic, hands-on candidates to work in a small museum on Fridays and Saturdays.
